Frolicsome .....

12th July 2017 (Wednesday) .... Joyful ‘me’ ... there’s a Coffee Morning in the EKC Kirk Hall ... and we have a nice quiet, though mostly cloudy, morning... and
Elie.
the sun is forecast to make break through by lunch time.   The only thing spoiling it is a cool, light Easterly breeze.
I’ve been up, on the bike, to Chapel Green, and will bike along to the ‘CM’  .... I also need to go to the Surgery to change an appointment.

21.00    The sun did break through giving us a bonnie afternoon and evening ... and, with the morning being taken up with the ... would you believe it ... a Coffee Morning, all in all this has been a busy and enjoyable day.     I did all the ‘tasks’ that I’d set myself, and found time to bike up to Kinneuchar Loch before going to the Kirk Hall for ‘morning coffee.     There were a few strangers in the hall which was good to see;  the idea of the summer (July and August) coffee mornings is to ‘catch the attention of’ the holiday makers in the villages, so that they come along and mix with the locals.

'The Beacon' - Earlsferry.
After lunch I looked at the ‘Tour’ but it was another one of those ‘boring’ days when a few cyclists ‘breakaway’ only to be caught .... today the lone member of the original three in the ‘breakaway’ was caught 300 metres short of the finish.    Tomorrow  (Stage 12 .. a distance 214.5 kilometres) ) should be more interesting because there are 5 climbs involved when they reach the Pyrenees’.

This afternoon I biked down to the harbour, but I’m not going to do that again in the middle of ‘the day’ .... the road past the ‘Ship Inn’ is too busy.    That said, it was bonnie own at the harbour with much ‘going on’.    Unfortunately,  a migraine ‘kicked in’ when I was down there (probably the bright sunlight) so I poodled my way home and had a quiet afternoon.... falling asleep in front of the ‘tele’ at one point .... when

watching the ‘Tour’.   Yes it (‘le Tour’) was not exciting today.... in fact in was more or less a repeat of Stage 11 over different roads.

‘Nae plans’ for tomorrow;  the weather forecast is ‘clouds and long sunny spells, with the chance of a shower later.    The best bit is that the wind is going to be from the Westerly direction.
