Breezy with sunny intervals ....

I don't want light showers now, but, it would be useful if one did come our way. Low and behold!..... a light shower has appeared right on cue! I'm a happy boy. l'll hang the washing out after the tubs have been watered!
11.00 The tubs have been watered and the washing is on the line; the next mission is to get the buggy battery on charge. I can do that inside it's wee 'garage', without worrying about it being hit by rain. An occasional light shower might come our way, though I don't need one now.
The top photograph is of the Wellington motorway (NZ). 'M' and I were on our way to visit friends in Wellington.
15.00 There's a shower pattering it's way over just now but it's OK; the washing is in and the buggy sheltered in it's 'den'. A bit annoying if you're down on the beach though. I won't go out on 'the buggy' this evening; not while there's the chance of showers. I was contemplating venturing to the Broomlees end of Ferry Road for a longer run.
20.30 The Buggy battery is fully charged and ready for a longer run; but I won't tackle Elie until after the worst of the holiday season is past. Going along by 'The Old Post Office' , in a car is an obstacle course at this time. Anyway the battery is charged up and I will be ready to go up the Ferry Road sometime soon; I feel that I could cope with that.
It has been a lovely day, but noticed a drop in the temperature when out at the bucket a few minutes ago.
22.15 With this being the height of the holiday season, Elie and The Royal Burgh of Earlsferry are busy villages just now; it's good seeing the villages being enjoyed by visitors, and I enjoy meeting folk from different places.
Tomorrow I'm going to Leven and Methil to annoy Alice and go shopping. Alice was at Glasgow todaywith the Methil History Society, so she will have much to tell me.
I've enjoyed the last couple of 'rest days' pottering around Ivy; doing things slowly. I'm looking forward to going out and about on the scooter once the streets are quieter.
