Wall to wall blue sky ....
18th May 2025 (Sunday) 09.00 .... Another sunny and cloudless morning, with a cool, but
light(just now), Easterly breeze. I am feeling frisky, but haven't been out on the bike yet. I've had breakfast so won't go out for an hour or so; I'll see how frisky I am... and, probably more importantly, how frisky the breeze is at the time.11.45 The wind has freshened, and changed direction, replacing 'Wall to Wall' blue sky with light cloud/haar, being blown in from the North Sea. And it's chilly. Nae bikin' this evening.... unless the wind changes direction again!
I'm ready for lunch (East Pier St Monans); Kirsty booked an inside table so the cauld breeze won't bother us. That said it all depends on where Kirsty can get parked. There's parking adjacent to the 'East Pier' so we could get lucky, and not have to walk very far.

The wind had freshened, and it was chilly, while we were inside so we didn't wander out on the pier. Kirsty took us for a 'mystery tour' on the way home, by way of Balbuthie, Kinneuchar, Colinsburgh, the new Eco Pavilion at the Charleton Golf Course, then out to Shell Bay Caravan Park for a mini mystery tour round the site, before going to LJ's (Shona's ice cream shop) in Elie for ice cream. My word that is one popular ice cream shop! Kirsty then drove home to the 'Royal Burgh' (we are Ferry Folk)... ending a really enjoyable afternoon. I fell sound asleep about ten minutes after Kirsty dropped me off.
20.30 There's a change in the sky tonight; the clouds have a 'chance of rain' look. Not that I wantrain.... but it would save me having to water the tubs! I'm going to have a cuppa before I do water the tubs.
21.45 It's not raining here, but there's dampness in the air, and it's bitterly cold; we might waken up to mist/fog in the morning.
No plan for tomorrow; got to see what the weather is actually like in the morning.
