Light rain ....
29th May 2025 (Thursday) 08.15 .... At the moment we have an overcast sky with a light breeze
and light rain; not a bonnie start to the day. However the rain is going to move away, to be replaced with sunny intervals and frisky wind by midday. It's a good shopping morning: I don't know whether to try the 'Store' (Ainster), or go to Leven, where I know the shelves will be well stocked. I'll have an early morning coffee.13.00 The heavy drizzle has moved away, and we now have 'sunny intervals'with a frisky wind.... and it's warm. I'm having a sandwich lunch as I type this, and will have a cuppa outside after the update.
The shopping expedition went well, but it's not the same shopping on my own. (Alice is on a day trip to Arbroath with two of her friends). As expected the roads were busy going to, and coming home from Leven. The shop was busy with auld mature people doing their shopping early. I got everything on my list (I remembered to take it with me); plus a few 'vitally needed 'extras'. I'll have one of those now, with my tea.
20.00 It was 21.6C at afternoon coffee time, but the wind had freshened to 'annoying' level, and enjoyed the sunshine. Apart from doing a shopping I have had a 'lazy' day. I set off for the beach about an hour ago but never got further than Ferry Corner: the air was chilly and upset the breathing tubes. Actually I must do something about that: and I'm thinkin' a mobility scooter would solve the problem. Iain is coming down (from Auchnagatt) in a couple of weeks and we'll sort that out then.
