Nice morning ....
28th May 2025 (Wednesday) 08.45 .... There's a moderate breeze from the West bringing a fresh
feeling air this morning; with pollen for the hay fever sufferers; and rain later in the afternoon.I didn't wake up until 07.45 so missed the early start I had planned, and I haven't got round to thinking of what I want to do; but have put the a washing on. I've had breakfast, now I'm ready for my first cuppa of the day. Sleepin' in is a bit of a bummer.
14.30 I went up for the paper in the morning... and completely forgot about the paper: it was an good morning for the camera and I was thinking 'Harbour' when I reached Elie. It's good job I wasn't thinking Sunny Sussex! Anyway I eventually reached the harbour, having stopped at the Toft on the way down. I'd intended stopping at the 'paper shop' on the way home, but was thinking Kinneuchar by this time, and came home by the Balbuthie road. It's no' easy being 'me'. Kinneuchar is definitely a 'green village!..... as you can see from the photo.
Since then I have had a migraine so now in resting mode. With an ice cream! And a cuppa.
19.30 When I went to hang out a washing this morning, I found a small parcel in 'The Hutte' addressed to a lady in Ivy Cottage, Colinsburgh. I finished hanging out the washing, then, made another cuppa, and pondered the situation. In the end I went into the Colinsburgh and Kinneuchar Community FB page and put a short message on it. Although I know Colinsburgh well I did n't know where the Colinsburgh 'Ivy Cottage' was. But just to show that FB does have it's good points, the lady to whom the parcel was addressed replied to my comment, to say that she would pick up said package, "would I be in, in the afternoon"? I'd just had a migraine so the answer to that was a positive 'yes'. The package was uplifted about 25 minutes later. And I continued to 'nurse' the migraine.
