Peaceful morning ....

20th May 2025 (Tuesday)     08.30 .... At the moment we have a layer of low cloud;  but the sun

will burn the cloud off, to give us a warm sunny day.   The breeze is from the SW just now but will back to the SE in the afternoon.    I need to buy a bathroom mirror when I'm in Leven today.   The mirror I have in the bathroom is hidden by a 'Blue Fern':  and the 'Blue Fern' likes where it is!   I'll take photographs after the new mirror is 'on site'.

17.00   It has been a lovely sunny day... and warm it's warm....19.9C in the shade.

After a cuppa at Alice's we went to B & M's to get a mirror for the bathroom... and eventually found one.  It's one big shop is B & M's.  On the way home we went to the Wellesley Kirk Community Centre for lunch.    The Wellesley Community Centre is popular, as is the Charity shop in the Hall next door, which we had a browse round before going to the Community Centre, (didn't buy anything).   We went back to Alice's HQ for coffee before I bumbled my way back home.

As soon as I got home, I made a cuppa then fell fast asleep in front of the tele.  I had a migraine in the middle of the night so slept for over an hour; and woke up in 'working' mode, so marked where the hook for the bathroom mirror is going.  I am now controlling how much work I do in one day:  the hook will be hammered in and the mirror hung tomorrow.   Don't want to overdo the 'work' thing.

20.00    Today is ending with a wall to wall blue sky; and tomorrow is going to be another lovely sunny day.   Slightly breezier so perhaps not as warm as it was today.    Tomorrow is going to be a 'rest day' for me;  apart from hanging the mirror.   I might go biking early in the morning.   This has been an enjoyable but tiring day after losing sleep last night.

I'm amazed at how fast the rhododendron is growing:  As you can see, the flowers are almost past.   New shoots suddenly made an appearance, and lengthen noticeably every day.   I'll transplant it into a bigger tub;  actually I'm not absolutely sure when I should do that.   I'll 'Google' it.

Having been on Google: late summer or early fall is the answer.   (Fall?   I must have been on an American site).
