Nice morrrrrning .....
30th May 2025 (Friday) 08.45 .... It's a lovely morning, but there's a lot of clouds just now, some
of them looking like potential showers. The clouds are travelling fairly fast in the fresh breeze so if there are any any showers, they will be short ones. We had a warm night (11.9C being the lowest reading overnight) and it's 16.9C now: it looks like being a pleasantly warm day.20.30 It has been a bonnie day; and showers never came our way. I went up to the golf course for a short daunder, and ended up speaking to Ken for a while. He was busy watering the flo'ers.
Irene?.... she was playing golf with Moira and some more girls. They play the 'wee course' on a Friday morrrrrrrrrrrrrrning.
It has been a nice days for playing golf, and the course was busy. The GHC (Golf House Club) is celebrating the 150th Anniversary this year, as is The Thistle'. There's a big marquee at the front of the 'Clubhouse' .... a sort of dance hall size extension. The 'Club' and the course will be busy for the next couple of weeks I imagine. I got a few photos of golfers when speaking to Ken; and might go up there again tomorrow to get a few more if the course is busy.
I left Ken to his watering, and came home by way of Rotten Row, and the Ferry Corner. All the young folk are growing just now, it must be the warm weather. Felix appeared with Trigger (dog), making for the beach. My word how Felix has grown; right enough I haven't seen him that often recently, with me having to 'avoid' the East winds. Trigger does not like having to wait while folks chat; he wants to be on the move the whole time. I was like him (Trigger) at one time. Now I would happily sit and talk.... aye, even sleep.
I have been tired easily in the warmer weather, but nothing new there. I always have a siesta in the afternoon since COVID times: now they are longer!
"Sunny Intervals with light rain" is forecast for tomorrow; and I was hoping to get some g#'golf'photographs. I didn't water the tubs this evening because the light rain is going to start overnight. If the rain doesn't come to anything I'll just have to do the watering in the morning.
There's a chilly air tonight; because the wind has gone round to the East. It's to veer Southerly tomorrow morning.... and it should be 'warm'.
