Nice morning ....

13th September 2025 (Saturday)     08.15 ..... There's been some light rain overnight, but that is

clearing away to the East to leave us with 'sunshine and showers' and a moderate Westerly breeze.   It must have been chilly overnight because the heating came on this morning.   (That reminds me I must set the heating to its ...er ... winter settings).    Anyway it looks like we are going to have a repeat of yesterdays weather;  so there could be some interesting clouds in the afternoon.

12.00    It has been a mostly sunny morning, albeit with a cold breeze;  but shower clouds are starting to creep over from the West.   I haven't been 'out and about', but might have a short daunder after this update;  I'll have a cuppa while I think about 'short daundering'.   It's much colder that it has been lately (15.2C);  I might have two cuppas!

15.00    After the cuppa (and a goodie) I louped intae the car and had a run up to Kinneuchar.   The roads were busy... even the Kinneuchar Station road.   I took a few photos then went home.   I might have that short daunder later;  we've just had shower o' rain.    It's time for a catnap.   Being that I don't have cat, I have to do the catnapping  myself!

20.15    We've had some heavy showers but they are slowly clearing away;  and the air is turning colder.

I've had a lazy kind of day.  I suppose I could call it 'restful and not feel so guilty.

I was worrying about the USA having problems with ultra Right Wing politics ;  but, after watching the marches in London this afternoon, we too have our problems with Right Wing politics.   In fact, most of the 'West' democracies are having big problems with Right Wing political parties.  We live in worrying .... and dangerous times.

Although it's colder, we still have White butterfly's flying around.    There has been an abundance of the White butterfly's (Large, Small and Green Veined).   I've seen a lot of Red Admirals, but only a few Tortoiseshell, Peacock and Painted Lady's.
