Lovely morrrrrning .... ....
22nd September 2025 (Monday) Autumnal Equinox.
09.00 .... We have a lovely Autumn morning; sunny, with a light south westerly breeze. The temperature
is 6.1C just now but it will be warm, once the sun is higher in the sky. I don't have a plan of action for today yet; I'll come up with one, while having another cuppa. I might go down to Nana's seat after morning coffee.19.15 I've had a strange day; for some reason I couldn't get fired up. Anyway I eventually decided to wash a couple of body warmers, which would appear to be just another washing job. Oh no it wasn't; I had badges (Veteran's badge etc) to remove; and found out why both warmers were heavy: I found £25.45p (in coins) from the numerous pockets. The doldrums were consigned to history..... I was beginning to enjoy myself!
My next mission was picking some apples, for Alice to turn into Apple Crumbles; and some for me to turn into Eve's Puddings. Although the apples look really bonnie, they taste more like cooking apples; so I use most of them for that, and nibble away at one now and again.
The furthest I went today was up to George and Dorothy's to take in their bin, then to the phone box to get photo to get a few photies tae play with in the evening. I thought about going up to Chapel Green on 'The Buggy' but the Ferry Road was busy, so I decided to leave that until tomorrow afternoon.
22.00 I'm going to Methil tomorrow to visit Alice, go shopping, then have lunch in the Wellesley Kirk Community Centre. A busy morning. Iain is coming down on Wednesday, hence the shopping. The car is going for it's MOT on Thursday so it's a busy couple of days.
Iain has to go back home to Auchnagatt early on Saturday morning. 'JB' is coming on Monday for a
week so I'll have to a couple o' days to make up the bed for 'JB'.It has been a nice day, mostly sunny but with a chilly breeze. The body warmers washed perfectly. The badges are back in place; the money in a dish, for when I need change.
I meant to water the tubs this evening; that will have to be done tomorrow. It's time for the 'orlicks.
