Light rain ....

15th September 2025 (Monday)     08.00 .... The overnight rain has moved away, to give sunny

spells and showers.   At the moment we have a light breeze, but it will freshen by morning coffee time, though not up to the levels that it will be down south.   I'm going to have a quiet day;  doing some 'ousework and general 'pottering' around Ivy.   When the sun gets going, and after I have morning coffee, I might go down to Nana's Seat:  because I'm feeling 'fairly frisky'.

17.00   It has been a day of mixed up weather;  mostly sunny in the morrrrning, then clouds and heavy showers in the afternoon.   A nice enough day as long as you missed the showers.

I had a daunder down to Nana's Seat (top photograph) and thought about walking along the bents, path for a bit but it was too windy for me.   I met Chris who was out walk her dog;  it might have been the other way round... the dog walking Chris!   Dog and Chris were going to the actual beach;  I'd decided to go back home and have a cuppa.

Did I mention doing some 'ousework?   I did!.... and set about cleaning the bathroom, with some fancy cleaner that 'JB' invested in.   Actually it makes a good job of the bath and sink etc.  The bath is the hardest item to clean so I did it, then looked at the sink and thought, "I'd better leave something to do tomorrow".

22.30   Tomorrow is going to be 'sunny with a fresh Westerly breeze' .... and it could be warm on the patio.    I don't have a 'plan' other than finish off the bathroom.   Depending on how busy the roads are I might take The Buggy for a turn up to Chapel Green in the morning;  before I put the battery on charge.

I've had my bedtime Horlicks, and now ready for bed.   It could be a cold night according to the weather

lassie.  Actually my Central Heating has been coming on in the morning so it has been colder overnight.

The villages are still busy with holiday makers;  and a lot of people are walking the Coastal Path.   I can't get over how much the East Neuk has changed  in the last few years.   The 'East Neuk' was the place where we lived, and sort of bumbled around;  now it's a busy holiday destination .... like  Cornwall.   Amazing how quickly it's changed:  and that's hard to come to terms with.
