Nice morning ....
8th March 2025 (Saturday) 09.00 .... It's a bonnie, peaceful morrrrrrning; sunny with a gentle breeze
from the East. I don't like the wind direction, but there's hardly any breeze at all just now, so I'll probably go out (on the bike) about 10.00, before the wind freshens, as it will. And, it could be a cool breeze..... coming in off the cold North Sea; but it should be really warm sheltered from the breeze. I might have morrrrrning coffee on the patio.14.00 We have a lovely Spring day.... and loads of folk are out enjoying the warm sun. The inshore Easterly breeze is cool but it's really warm anywhere sheltered from the breeze; such as the patio. I had afternoon coffee out there.
17.30 I took advantage of the light lovely morning and biked to The Terrace Elie, back to Chapel Green then up to the Pony Field. There was a bit of a mist as you can see from the photographs, but there was hardly any breeze at the time so very little wind chill. I must admit it was cooler at Chapel Green because the breeze had freshened, and Chapel Green is totally exposed to a breeze off the East. I was well enough wrapped up so I wan't cold, but didn't hang around. I met Sheila and John from Glasgow, who are holidaying at Kinneuchar Castle: it's always good finding 'new' friends.... and Chapel Green (Maggie's seat) is a good place for that.
Back at Ivy I had a 'lite bite' lunch, followed by afternoon coffee on the patio. It was really warm there, but it was chilly out in the open. The Six Nations rugby so I watched that.... and made up the single bed in between times. I've had a busy day and I have no doubt I'll be stiff 'ra morra'.
