Bonnie morning ....
17th March 2025 (Monday) I 'll begin by wishing all my Irish pals a "Happy St Patrick's Day"!
08.15 We have a lovely, sunny but cool, morning in Elie and Earlferry; and there's a nice breeze from
the East that will dry the bedding going through the machine just now. Apart from the washing and admiring all '21.30 It has been a lovely day... but still cooler than I like for biking. But it was warm on the patio so I photographed Jackie's work; and the individual flowers.
The washing dried and has been ironed. It wasn't the best of drying days as we had spits and spots o' rain in the morning; between the chance of a shower and it being cold put me off any idea I had for biking after lunch. The car wheels needed some exercise so I went for a run to Elie, then home by way of Balbuthie and Kinneuchar. On
the way round I finally got some photos of the Balcaskie herd of Red Lincoln cattle. I've seen them in the fields around Bowhouse for a good while now, but this is the first time I've been able to park up and get photographs of them. I was beginning to think I wouldn't get them until I was going out that way on the bike! There's always something interesting going on around us!

As planned this has been a lazy 'rest' day. I have the other sheet to wash (and iron) tomorrow and that will be the bedding done. It's going to be another good day tomorrow but still cold so nae biking. The weather is forecast to be warmer at the end of the week. However the wind is going to be mostly from the East which is not a good wind for biking. (Dries the throat).
I'm going to make my Horlicks, take a couple of Paracetamol and have an early night in bed, with my
book; 'Aberdeen's Haunted Heritage'. There's strange things happen all over the City : a bit like Edinburgh!

Tomorrow I intend going to Methil to annoy Alice; and possibly do some shopping. That's after I hang out the last of the bedding.
