We have a lovely, sunny morning at Elie and Earlsferry; there is a chill in the air, with a moderate NE breeze. It it will be warm sheltered from the wind, and feel warmer than it did yesterday even out in the open when the sun is higher!
10.15 The wind has freshened, which I'm happy about because I have a washing on the line. On the other hand, I need the wind to moderate later in the afternoon, so that it's warmer when biking! Ferry Road has been busy (traffic) this morrrrrning; could be a busy weekend ahead. Oops .... a migraine has just kicked in; better take the pills.
20.30 The 'troops' have a bed to sleep in; but, my word, it's getting harder to make up the bed.... especially getting the downie into it's cover. Anyway at least they have abed to sleep in!
It doesn't take a migraine to have me sleeping in the afternoon but I slept for nearly an hour and a half this afternoon. I'm blaming the migraine but it might have been the wrestling with the downie!
The wind quietened down later in the afternoon so I got the bike out, but with the migraine still bothering me, I only went as far as 'Sea Tangle road' .... and the seat at the sixth green. It was pleasant sitting in the sun but the light breeze wasn't warm.
22.30 It's a bonnie evening, with a clear sky showing all the star constellations clearly. They would look even better up on the golf course, but I can see some of them from the patio. Orion is always good at this time of year. The air is chilly so we could wake up to a frost in the morning.
I haven't had as productive a day as I planned; I spent a lot of time dozing; most likely caused by the
migraine. I've made the Horlicks and taken the pills so I'm ready for bed.According to the Weather forecast we're to have sunny intervals with light winds.... and cold for this time of year.
