Bright and breezy ....

28th March 2025 (Friday)     09.00 .... It's a 'bright and breezy' morning, with some fluffy white clouds

scuttling over, on the frisky NW wind.  That reminds me:  "Grey clouds bring rain Grandad;  fluffy white clouds bring sunshine";  stated by Emily (granddaughter) when she was nearly 4 years old!... and wanting to go for a walk.   That was after Grandad, who wasn't keen to go walking at the time, had suggested ...  "it looks like it's going to rain!".  We have it all on video tape!   However, white clouds do make an interesting sky!... and grey clouds could bring showers.   And... it's very windy so there's a bit of windchill.   I'm going to have an early 'morning coffee'.

19.30   Although it has been a mostly sunny (we had a couple of showers) day there has been a wintry feel to the air, which kept me inside most of the time.  The TV on the news channel most of the day, so I am up to date with the earthquake in Myanmar.   I couldn't find anything to watch so pottered about, and had numerous cuppas.   I did some computer work... and on the phone so it wasn't a completely lazy day.   I'd say I was well rested.

I took 'time out' and went down to Ferry Corner to get a few of photos for the Archive later in the afternoon, but didn't linger long.   It was windy then,  but the wind has moderated  in the last  hour.

21.45    I'm going to have an early night in bed.   It's not because I'm under the weather or anything..... but because I'm reading a Donna Leon book ('The Anonymous Venetian)' I got from Kirsty for my birthday!    Off to make the 'orlicks.
