Beautiful morrrrrrning ....

31st January 2025 (Friday - Auchnagatt)    09.30 .... It's a lovely sunny morning at Auchnagatt,

but Jackie said it is cold out.   I haven't been out;  in fact I didn't get up until 08.45 so I am well behind schedule.  Iain has a colony of Tree Sparrows living in the garden and they are busy contemplating the nest boxes!   The sun has them thinking it's Spring.    I'm thinking it's breakfast time.

16.30   Jackie and I took advantage of the lovely weather and went to Collieston, one of the smaller harbour villages dotted around the NE coast.   Work was being done on the access road to the harbour so we couldn't park there.   Jackie took the car to the big car park (three minutes away) while I took a few photos at the harbour;  then went up to join the path to the car park, to meet Jackie.    That was a good bit of exercise for me, but I managed, albeit with a few stops for a 'breather'.   Actually that was the most exercise I've had in few weeks.   Hard work, but I was happy at being able to do it.   I'll be ready for my bed  tonight!

As you can see I have taken a few photos of 'Sorley'  with 'Grandad'!.... and 'Boris'.   I don't think  Boris was overly keen on the Sorley's idea of a cuddle.   I intend on getting more of Sorley over the next couple of days.... with Mummy and Grandmummy!

19.15    Iain  has set my up with a different computer (Linux System) so I will take a wee while o get used to working with it.    Funnily enough I have a photograph ready to upload but I'll have to check the size of it first.
It seems fine:  obviously that photo was taken when 'JB' was here!

21.00   I've had an enjoyable day but I am tired to.night;  that will be the change of air.... and the physical exercise I had at Collieston.

I've also been working on this new laptop, and have made good progress.   It has been frustrating (as computers can be) but I think that I'll be able to  upload tomorrows photographs, and work on them to get them onto the 'blog'.   I'm actually surprised at how much progress I've made.   Of course tomorrow will be the big test.

22.00    I've had an exciting evening opening my Auchnagatt Christmas presents this evening, which
Collieston harbour.
brought an end to what has been a busy day.
Tomorrow Jackie and I might go to the wee cafe in Maud that opened on the site of what once was the Maud cattle market site.   No doubt there will be a photograph on the 'blog';   if I can remember how to do it all.    That depends on the weather:  it should be cloudier but dry, therefore OK.
