Nice morning .....
20th April 2026 (Monday) 09.15 .... It'a a bonnie morning for being out and about;
I might get 'The buggy' out today; but April showers are mentioned in the weather forecast so I'll see how that develops. I'm feeling? .... 'almost playful' actually, But the 'plan' is to have a quiet day; one of the things I'm going to do is post my Postal Vote. Right now it's time to have an early morning coffee. oops ... I sneezed!20.00 I've had a busy day. In the morning I posted my Postal Vote, and, being as the car was pointing to the harbour I went there; for the firs time in a couple of weeks. There was hardly any wind so it wasn't cold; and I was well wrapped up.
The villages are still busy with holiday folk; or I should maybe say, 'folk I don't know'. Some of them could be 'new locals'!
As you can see from the top photograph 'romance is in the air'. The girl Eider's are fewer in number than the boy's, so can have a bit of fun choosing their mate for the season. It never seems to come to serious fechtin' wi' the boy Eider's; but maybe that's because I've never seen much in the way of them actually fechtin'. Anyway she made her choice and the other male just paddled away; to look for another girl I guess.
Shona came down on her bile in the afternoon, and we sat in the Hutte and sorted out the World's problems. Apparently there's nothing much happening in Kinneuchar; but the village had been busy for the past three weeks.
There was a lot of 'blue' in the sky today; I don't mean the area of blue sky, the blue of thesky was sort of crystal looking. As you can see from the photos.
The wind has freshened since I was at the harbour; it will be cold sown there now! I've been up closing 'The Hutte for the night and it's cold and it's cold in Ivy garden. The wind is from the SE.
Today's photos all taken at the harbour.
