Cloudy ....

3rd April 2026 (Friday)      10.00 ..... we had a sunny start to the morning, but is had clouded

over, and it looks like we will have light rain showers.   There's a fresh SW wind so the light showers could be squally showers.    I might abandon working in 'The Hutte'  today:  I'll bring the postcards I'm working with into Ivy,  and work closer to the kettle!    I thought it was warm when I first went out (07.30) but it colder now:  maybe it's the wind that has freshened.    I'm going to put the kettle 'on', then bring in the postcards..

15.00    It was a nice enough morning for me to do the postcards in 'The Hutte';   and made friends with a cat that comes to The Royal Burgh for it's Easter holidays.    I intended having my siesta out there but it started to rain.  The cat disappeared when a shower o' rain  came;  and I disappeared into Ivy.   It's only a shower, between sunny spells at the moment, so still a nice afternoon.

Well it has been a nice start to the holiday weekend;  but it's much colder now than it was in the morning.  I didn't go anywhere today;  the traffic has been too busy to go out on the bike, or buggy.  Anyway I plugged in one of my external hard drives and had a browse though a few Folders.   I then realised that I have photographers around the UK that can upload photies onto the Photo Frame:  I then take a photo of the picture on the Photo Frame without having to go out in the cold!  The photographer is credited at the bottom left corner of the photo.

What is the 'plan' for tomorrow?    At the moment I don't have a 'plan',  the weather is forecast "light rain with sunny spells" ,,,, and cold.   The wind is going to freshen, so there will be loads of windchill.  I'll stay in and catch up with some computer work.   Tuesday looks like being the next 'warm' day.

21.15    I'm wondering if I'll get a visit from 'my' cat tomorrow;  it's a friendly cat, and appears every year at Easter, and sometimes in the Summer too;  so it's a 'holiday' cat.

Today's photos were taken by Michael, from somewhere high up in London.    I don't think he was
outside the window cleaning it!

Emily has just put a few photies on to the 'Frame' so I'll 'play with them tomorrow.    Right now it Horlick's time, and an early night in bed.    This cold weather is not what we want at this time of year;  and certainly not for all the folk that are here on holiday!
