Bright and breezy ....

13th April 2026 (Monday)     10.00 .... We have a bonnie start to the 'working' week, sunny with a

light, chilly, breeze.   It's a great morning to be out on the bike.... or jogging.   I'll have another cuppa after this update.

I've just seen President Trump, 'Leader of the Free West', give  Pope Leo a round of the Trump guns.    I'm beginning to think that President Trump sees himself as Pope Leo's 'Boss'!

Alberto? .... I'm feeling brighter this morning. but will stay 'in' and warm, 'working' on the computer and drawing.   Must 'go'.... slight Flap On'.... need a liquid intake!    And a 'goodie'!

12.15    I've had a run round the 'Royal Burgh' and up to my usual parking place near Kinneuchar, to get a few 'today' photos.  By he way, it's a nice day out, but, if out in the open,  the breeze is chilly.   And, there's a chance of April Showers!   I enjoyed my short trip in the car;  there's a lot of holiday makers around, so this must still be the 'Easter Holiday's.   Holiday's? .....''d better make a start on  the'work' I've planned for today!    I see shower clouds have started to meander over;  and it looks we might catch one or two.

19.30    The April Showers never came to much;  in face I only saw a few spots of rain on 'The Hutte' windows... and that was from the edge of a shower that passed to the south of us.   Then only real difference was the air went chilly every time a cloud obscured the sun!     I've had a productive day, colouring in the drawing of the 'Old Pier', with coloured pencils.

President Trump has decided that he will close the Strait of Hormuz;  this is after saying so much about how it should be 'open' for all to use.   This is becoming farcical:  is it not time that some of his advisers  suggested diplomacy as the way to sort this out.   They were talking, and listening(?) to each other in in Pakistan at the weekend;  go back to doing that... and bring an end to the Iran war.   That will stop the ever increasing cost of living;  brought on by starting, and escalating, 'Epic Fury'!   Must 'go' slight Flap on;  need a cuppa!

22.15     I'm going to have another 'quiet' day tomorrow;  but might take 'The Buggy' out if the weather

is suitable;  that means warm! .... with a low chance of showers.   Anyway, working on the old Pier Project is relaxing;  and I like the way it's looking with a bit of colour added.

Today's photographs:    taken today when out in the car.
