Lovely morning ....
19th April 2026 (Sunday) 09.30 ..... It's a an absolutely beautiful morning; sunny and warm,
with a light, but cool, Northwesterly breeze.... a nice morning for the joggers. I might even make it as far as 'Nana's Seat' sometime today. Actually I might get 'The Buggy' out later; it depends on how busy the Ferry Road is. At the moment it's quiet. Oops ....a migraine has just kicked in; that will cramp my activities a bit. Off to take the pills.18.45 It's a gorgeous evening, so I ventured up to my usual place at the end of the Kinneuchar Station road to get a few 'today photies. And 'lo and behold', there was 'His Nibs' strutting his stuff. He started to give me the warning off signs; that let me know that his wife must be sitting nearby. I was hoping he'd step into the sunny bit, but no; he was mair interested in warning me off.
Good progress has been made with the pencils today; in between cat-naps. A migraine first thing in the morning is a nuisance for the rest of the day. That reminds me; I need to take another couple of pills!). I haven't been able to get really going today: migraines take the edge off my playfulness!
22.00 The 'Mandelson Mess' continues to resurface; with other parties saying that the PM should resign. The PM made a catastrophic mistake appointing Mandelson (er ... Lord Mandelson) and has apologised for doing so. Actually, that's what I can't understand: why did the PM think Lord Mandelson was 'the best man for the job' of Ambassador to the USA?
The other 'News' tonight is a meeting, in Pakistan, between the USA and Iran, for 'talks'. Already theLeader of the Western World, is threatening to bomb all the bridges and power stations in Iran if they don't agree to 'His' terms! A grand way to begin 'talks' that should eventually lead to Peace talks!
I'm going to have a cuppa, check the 'News' then get off to bed. I haven't a plan for tomorrow; but I should be 'brighter eyed and bushier tailed' than I have been today. The weather is going to me much the same as it was today; except that the wind is going to be off the North Sea; so, it will be cooler on the east Coast. Aye... even in KY9!
