Bright and breezy ....

10th April 2026 (Friday)    08.45 .... It's a bonnie, sunny morning;  but there's a chilly breeze, so

it will be cool when exposed to the frisky wind.   Me? ..... I'm  going to be warm in The Hutte, drawing an A3 size version of the old pier.   I enjoy drawing, but didn't do any when the workmen were busy next door, and had to move the shed.    Anyway Iain and Jackie have given me my 'Drawing Place' back so I'm a 'happy boy'.

18.45    It has been a beautiful, mostly sunny day;  but there was windchill with the frisky wind.   It was a perfect drying day;  and I had  a washing out.     I spent most of the day in 'The Hutte' drawing.   At one point I thought of going round The Ferry on 'The Buggy' but decided against it because of the windchill;  and the traffic.   And;  I'm nursing a cold.   That means Alberto will lying low for the next couple of days.  If the weather is suitable i\'ll lie low in The Hutte.

It's hard to believe that one man could create so much chaos on the Planet by his actions.    I refer to President Trump and his amazing, success in making the cost of living a major worry for most of the world population.   Even his MAGA 'friends' are having to pay for his short sighted actions.    Let's hope that the 'Peace' talks in Pakistan  end up with Peace in the Middle East;  and everything settles down to where it was before the Iran war.  Having said that;  it will take a long time for things to get back to something like the old normal;  two and a half years in fact!

The sky has clouded over in the past couple of hours;  with a fresh breeze and light rain showers forecast for tomorrow.

22.30    Heather, Ray and Alistair came down this evening so we had a good old catch up, over 'evening

coffee'.    It was good seeing them again and catching up with their 'News'.

I've had a quiet day in The Hutte with the pencils.   It will be more of the same tomorrow:  I'll do another A3 size drawing, perhaps from a different viewpoint.    Anyway it's bedtime for me:  I'm going to have a Lemsip to help get rid of this cold.
