Light cloud ....
25th April 2026 (Saturday) 09.45 .... The sun is slowly shifting the early morning fog/low cloud
we had earlier. "Sunny intervals, with a moderate Easterly breeze" is forecast, so we should have a lovely afternoon; but it will be cool out in the open. We're going to Leven (after another cuppa) to get some of Iain's 'Freefrom' food, and a new Hoover for me. Does the firm Hoover still make 'Hoovers'?16.00 Iain has been up to Chapel Green looking for insects to photograph; Me? ..... I fell asleep in 'The Hutte'. Oh our trip tp Leven went perfectly; the only hindrance being the roadworks in Lundin Links. The workmen were there today!
I got my new 'Hoover'; it's a Vax... an much quieter that the old one. The old one had bits falling off it so was well ready for the re-cycling yard. I've been meaning to get a new 'oover for a while, so I'm a happy boy now. From B & M's we went across the road to Sainsbury's to get some 'emergency rations' for me. Sainsbury's was busy; as were the roads.
I've just had a migraine so I'll take a couple o' pills and have a short catnap in The Hutte before 'denner'.
We have a lovely, sunny afternoon here at the Centre of the Universe. The onshore breeze takes a few degrees off the temperature on the beach; but the villages are busy, going by the number of people, and cars, using Ferry Road. Those on foot are wearing windcheater jackets!
23.15 Heather and Alistair came down in the evening, so we had an enjoyable evening looking at Heather's beautiful paintings and drawings of flowers; the foxglove is amazing. And it's a relaxing hobby!
Iain is going back home tomorrow after a busy weekend: I've been busy too! I think I was busy but can't think what I was busy doing! Nothing planned, but I'll do some 'ooverin' and dustin'.
I'm tired now so off to bed to read my book.
