Nice morrrrrrning .....

21st April 2026 (Tuesday)    09.30 .... We have sunny spells, with occasional

drizzle, blowing through on a brisk, and chilly Easterly wind.    It is a 'wrap up well morning;  especially  before going anywhere near the breach, or golf course.   Me? .... I haven't  got a 'plan', but I think this will be a 'stay in and warm' day:  probably mostly in 'The Hutte' once the sun warms it up.    I'll venture up to the 'Paper shop'  after morning coffee;  but won't be going to the harbour.

17.30     As per 'plan' I went to the 'Paper Shop;  where I caught up with the local News, then on to Colinsburgh to put fuel in the car: not an enjoyable task nowadays.    The present 'Leader of the Western World'  will go down in history as the most disruptive President of the USA  .... ever!    Let's hope that the talks, that might take place in Pakistan sometime, extends the 'ceasefire', and eventually leads to Peace'.   That's the only way President Trump has of getting out of this war with any credibility.

After I got back from Colinsburgh I had a 'lite bite' lunch;  and thought about getting 'The Buggy' out afterwards.    However I'd just began to get organised when clouds began to drift in from the North Sea, bringing a big drop in temperature.   That resulted in 'The Buggy' idea being, swiftly, put back on the shelf!    I made a cuppa and went into 'The Hutte' and read the paper.   Although we had a mix of clouds and sunny spells, the fresh wind meant it was really cold out in the open!   It was warm in The Hutte!

22.00    This has been a better day for me;  I feel that I'm getting back to 'normal' after that cold I had.   That said, I'm looking for a decent spell of warmer weather.... of the summer kind!

Sir Olly Robbins being questioned by MP's made interesting TV this morning.
I  didn't watch it all, but it was interesting  seeing what goes on in the 'background'.   I don't think it makes much difference to the Prime Minister's position:  The Prime Minister admitted  that he made a catastrophic mistake choosing Lord Mandelson for the position, and he has apologised for doing that.   The fact that he made that mistake is not a reason for resigning!
