22nd April 2025 (Tuesday)     09.00 .... I must have been tired last night;  I didn't wake up until

07.45!   Anyway I'm vertical (ish) and have been out as far as the gate.    It's a bright and breezy morning, with a chilly Westerly breeze at the moment; in fact a good morning for biking, and I intend going out once the air has warmed up.   I need a cuppa.   Oops ....  I sneezed.   I'd better make that cuppa and take the pills!

20.30    I don't know what I did yesterday that made me so tired, but I'm still tired.   That said I have biked up to Chapel Green twice today;  so I will most likely sleep in tomorrow morning.   It has been a really nice sunny and warm day:  at least it was, until the wind backed to the Easterly, early in the afternoon, and we ended up with a chilly breeze off the sea.  I was at Chapel Green both morning and afternoon.

After my morning visit to Chapel Green I had morning coffee on the patio;  my word it was cosy.   It was 18C in the shade, I don't know what it was out in the open, in the sunshine, but it was hot!  Unfortunately it was much cooler by the middle of the afternoon.   I abandoned the patio and watched the snooker.... well some of it;  as usual I had an afternoon siesta, and slept for about an hour.   I'm going to bed early tonight.

Tomorrow is going to be another bright day but, with the wind being from the East it will be cool on the beach.   I might venture out on the bike if it isn't too cold, and I'm feeling fitter.   Another hot shower should ease the aching muscles.   The only thing I can think of is;  I carried a bag of messages up from the parking space at the Toon Hall, and I was well shattered when I got into Ivy.   Luckily two vehicles had moved by the time I'd got my breath back;  and I brought the car round to Ivy to unload the rest of the messages.   This was all my own fault;  when I left Methil I thought the work vans would all be gone by the time I got home, but I was wrong.   I am a silly boy;  at least I got a good night's sleep out of it!

Although the joggers are no longer around we still have plenty folk here on holiday, as I found out when
up at Chapel green this morning.   Lots of people to talk to.   I might have my morrrrrning coffee at Chapel Green tomorrow.    No I won't;  the wind is going to be Easterly.  It's Horlicks time.
