Nice morning ....

16th September 2026 (Wednesday)    09.45 .... It's a lovely morning... and ... oops I need to

switch on the washing machine... because it's a good drying day!   Apart from switching 'on' the washing machine, what is the plan for today?    Mostly checking paper work, including  'computer stuff'.   The weather forecast is good until later in the afternoon and overnight, when we could have showers.     Must 'go'.... 'Flap on', the kettle switch  needs some attention!

18.00    The sky is clouding over, and the air much chillier;  but I'm not complaining, because it has been sunny and warm up till now.    We've been busy with paperwork ... and computer stuff.     So it has been a satisfying day as far as work goes.

20.30    We haven't been anywhere today because of the 'paper work' that had to be done.    However  paper work had been done.    Michael is 'working from home' tomorrow  mornin,;  so I will tidy up the 'computer stuff' I've been working on.   Friday is going to be shopping day.

Quiet corner of Kinneuchar
Last night Michael and I  sat up till midnight ,listening to Scottish  Music on YouTube... and it has caught up with both of us so it's an early night in bed tonight.   As I said earlier Michael is 'working' tomorrow morning;  so I shall  also work... on the computer.

I've been out at the bin and can tell you that, not only is it colder, it's also raining.   Michael is already off to bed.   I have the dishwasher to empty, so I'll do that, have another cuppa then get off to my bed too!

7th May 2025 (Wednesday)    08.15 .... "Sunny intervals with a light breeze" is today's weather forecast for.... KY9, Ellon, Uckfield (Sussex) and London:  it's going to be a bonnie day all over the UK.  The breeze is from the Easterly direction so the East coast will be cooler; but it will be warm sheltered from the breeze.   It's a nice, peaceful kind of morning at Elie and Earlsferry:  the sky is a mix of fluffy clouds and blue bits, and the temperature is 11.6C just now.   3.3C was the minimum overnight.  20.30     I'd been reading about the cyber attack on M & S, Harrods and the Co-op... so, feeling inquisitive, for my morning 'mission' I decided to go to The Store (Ainster) and see how the 'attack' was affecting our local 'Store'.   The first thing I noticed was the car park wasn't as busy as normal and all the Disabled spaces were empty.  Inside the store,  the empty vegetable and fruit...

1st November 2019 (Friday)       07.00 .... Mmmmm ... it’s cauld and wet Mmmmm .... not the perfect weather for the beach. as per weather forecast;   a real dreich morning.      I am feeling considerably brighter than the weather and looking forward to morning coffee in ‘arbour ‘ouse..... then spending the rest of the day mostly working on the computer, and doing Soduko’s.    I might bake Melting Moments..... baking and sampling 'MM's is always a cheering occupation on a dreich day. 09.00    The sky to the West is showing promising changes in greyness;   could we be in for a few bright spells?    “Light rain showers and a gentle breeze” is the forecast for today.... but a bright spell would be very welcome.    I haven’t been anywhere further than the pavement when manoeuvring the bucket into its ‘ready for emptying’ position.   I’ll have another cuppa then ‘loup’ into the car an...

12th June 2026 (Friday)     09.30 ..... It's a lovely morning... and a good drying day!     Michael and Janice will be getting ready to go to Uckfield Station.   Me? .... I had the best night's unbroken sleep in years last night:  I put the light out at 22.45 and woke up at 06.45!     And I had a long hot shower so I'm feeling rested, and  'playful'  this morning.    That said I have the car to 'worry' about;  however the garage will take care of that, and I should get it back in plenty of time to go for Janice and Michael.  Unfortunately I couldn't do the shopping I wanted to do!    That will have to be done tomorrow.     10.00    Apart from putting the downie inside it's cover, Michael and Janice have a bed to fall into tonight!   I'm going to celebrate that by having morning coffee! 11.30     The car is back at the gate.    I...
