Nice morning ....

7th July 2027 (Thursday)     08.45  .... This morning we have light cloud, with a moderate breeze

from the SW.... and it's cool for this time of year.    Jackie is busy in the garden, re-potting some flowers she bought at Cupar Garden Centre yesterday.   Jackie moves to Sr Andrews today to her Classical Guitar 'get thegither';  staying in the Students residence.    Me? ..... I'll do a some 'ousework but this is mostly a 'rest' day.

Oh Dear! .....Belgium beat the USA  4 - 1 to knock America out of the World Cup!    I hope this doesn't lead to Belgium being hit by 100% Tariffs!

21.00    Jackie is off to St Andrew to her Classical Guitar week;  so I am i/c at Ivy.   Jackie did a load of work in the garden when she was here;  so I've recording with the camera.    It has been a nice day, but cooler than it should be:  however I ventured as far as The Hutte and did another hard Soduko.

Just when I was thinking that British politics was in the doldrums;  up comes Nigel Farage with something .... er ... different!   He resigns as an MP, but will stand in the by-election caused by his resignation!    The Clacton voters will be centre stage until that by-election!    Which will happen after  the Summer recess.

Today I got a letter from the NHS with an appointment time for an RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) vaccine, at the Randolph Wemyess Memorial Hospital, on the 27th August.

The weather has been kind to us today;  a bit dull, with spell of light rain in the morning, but ending with a nice evening.   I have no 'plan' for tomorrow;  I have shower towels to wash, but it will likely be a pottering around in the garden day.    It should begin to feel warmer, even hot, on Wednesday.

I watched the Argentina v Egypt World Cup game this afternoon.   Egypt were winning 2 - 0 with eleven

minutes to go till Full Time.   Seven minutes were added for stoppages, during which time Argentina scored another two goals;  winning 3 - 2.   It was hard not to feel sorry for Egypt, because they were so close to knocking Argentina, the present holders of the World Cup, out!

Today's photographs all take at Ivy.
