Bright and breezy .....

23rd February 2026 (Monday)     11.00 .... I've been a busy boy this morning;   done the

ooverin', and will do the dustin' (not overly keen on dustin') after this update.   We have an lovely Spring like morning, it could even be a 'play'day;  but it's  cool in the brisk wind just now.   I might get 'The Buggy' out it the wind dies down a bit.   What I will do; is charge the bike battery and see how the bike has survived the damp weather.   'Slight Flap on' ... got to find the bike battery charger!   And it's morning coffee time!

15.30    I set off in the afternoon intending to go to Methil and have coffee with Alice, but when I got to the top of the hill it started to rain (shower) so I abandoned that idea, and ended up pottering my way to the harbour, then along to St Minnins, Abercrombie, then home by way of Robin Gray's and Kinneuchar.

The top photograph is the one I took when Marcia and Irene  were passing.  That reminds me:  the hearing aids work with car horns... and then some!    I'm glad it was Marcia and not an irate farmer wanting into his field!    When I was out of the car, taking photies, it was much colder than I'd expected it to be.    The patio thermometer was reading 10.8C at lunch time.   In spite of the wind chill it was a nice day to be out;  the feeling of Spring was 'in the air'.   I was wrapped up for Winter weather!

Elie and Earlsferry are busy, at least the harbour area was busy.   Anyone I saw was well wrapped up. It's always cold at a harbour!

22.00    It has been a lovely day and I have been busy:  I eventually did the dusting!   As I said earlier it's not my favourite job.    Anyway, it's done;  and I'm a happy 'boy' again.

I have to go and have a blood testy tomorrow at Elie the Surgery, in the morning.   Before that I plan on doing a washing and having it out on the line early.   The weather forecast is 'light cloud with a moderate breeze' so it should dry.   No mention of either showers nor sunny spells.   Just 'light cloud.

The 'mild' spell is due to continue for another few days but, so far, I haven't found it that warm.    My
breathing has been bad for the past couple of days.... and cold air is one of the mains causes of that.   Mossmoran is 'flaring' just now;  with the wind being from the West, that could cause breathing problems for asthmatics downwind.   Interesting 'nae weelness' is asthma.
It's time for the Horlicks!
