NIce morning ....

24th May 2026 (Sunday)     10.00 .... As per weather forecast, we have a lovely, sunny and

Evening rime clouds/
warm  morning.    There is  a sort of layer  of thin cloud, so the sun isn't hot;   as it will be if the cloud burns off.  The joggers have been out, and lots of folk wandering down to the beach;  a nice holiday morning!   Oh.... nearly forgot;  there's a light SW breeze to keep us cool.

19.00    It has been an absolute cracker of a Spring day, and loads of people have been raking advantage  of, what has been more like a day in the middle of summer actually!    I  even had a seat in the sun, but ended up going into 'The Hutte', and doing research .... and Soduko's.    That reminds me I set a Soduko up and have it to finish;  that will be the mission after this update.    I eventually had to abandon The Hutte because, even with the door wide open, and the blinds half down, to keep out the sun, the temperature got up to 28C.    I went into Ivy to cool off with an ice cream.     When out in The Hutte I always have a water bottle handy.    Must keep hydrated in this kind of weather.

This weather is all very well;  but it d doesn't water the flower  rubs, so I have that to do before the evening is out.  This dry weather is going to be with us for most of this week;   and maybe into the next.  Could this be our 'Summer?    I don't know about that, but I know that I have tubs that will need water!

21.45    The tubs have been watered;  but they'll need to be done every day in this weather.   That's 'work' ... as in real 'work', not pottering around in The Hutte 'work'.   I feel tired just thinking about it.   Anyway it has been a lovely day, and I have enjoyed the change.   I thought about going out on 'The Buggy' early tomorrow morning, but perhaps I should leave that until Tuesday.   I'll see how I feel.

The 'on/ off'  Peace Deal for the Middle East is back 'on' again;  let's all hope that it comes to

Eider duck.
something this time.... and is a lasting peace for the Middle East.   In Europe we have the Russian invasion of Ukraine war, blundering on.   Going by the number of Russian and Ukraine soldiers killed;  Ukraine would appear to be winning, having killed the most soldiers.    I feel sorry for the families, on both sides, that have lost loved ones, in both wars.   We live in crazy times.
