Bright and breezy .....
4th May 2026 (Monday) 10.45 .... I overslept this morning, because I watched the film ('movie'
nowadays) '1917' , and that didn't end until 23.50. I was in bed by 040030. It' shows the horrors of WW1 at the beginning, but sort of loses it half way through; but is an interesting WW1 film. Anyway we have a bonnie, sunny, and warm, morning here in KY9; with a moderate drying breeze. And, the washing is on the line. I don't really have a 'plan' for today, but I might go out after morning coffee, and after the pills have kicked in.Ferry Road has been quiet, but that might be because I slept in and missed the 'Ferry Road' rush hour(s).17.15 Elie High Street parking places were full of parked cars when I went up to the Chemist to hand in my prescription; even the disabled one! However I parked in the 'Keep Clear' space next to the Disabled space; then found out that the Chemist was 'Closed'. Probably because they'd remembered that it was a Bank holiday! I thought about going to the harbour, then thought again; '"The High Street is busy: whet will it be like, down at the harbour?" I came home by way of Balbuthie and Kinneuchar. There was a queue outside LJ's (Ice Cream shop). I even considered joining that and having an ice cream; then remembered that I'm trying to avoid crowds. I came home by way of Balbuthie ans Kinneuchar Station road end.... again!
My late night eventually caught up with me; I feel sound asleep watching the snooker! And I mean sound. I slept for nearly an hour.; and I'll be in bed early tonight!
I have the Final session of the snooker to watch this evening: it's a close 'up and down' match between two brilliant snooker players. One of them will come out on top this evening.
As you can see from today's photographs we've had a bonnie, sunny, and warm day. There's a big difference when the breeze isn't off the North Sea.
