Nice, damp morning ....

21st May 2026 (Thursday)     09.00 ....  It's a lovely damp morning.   Lovely? .... yes, because

the pollen count  will be low.   Actually that's a bit of a bummer because I took an anti-histamine tablet that I didn't need to take!     Anyway I had a brilliant night of totally unbroken sleep last night;  that's one thing about the booster jab;  always get a few good sleeps!      I'l have another cuppa before going into 'action'.

15.30    The weather has been mixed, with some heavy rain in the morning, and sunny intervals in the afternoon.    Me?.... I decided to go to 'The Store'  to do a shopping for the long weekend.    Monday is the holiday, but the weekend will be busy... and stressful.   When I left to go to Anstruther the rain was light, but I drove into heavy rain at St Minnins... and had that all the way to 'The Store.   However I was lucky there;  by the time I'd done the shopping the rain had moved away and I didn't get wet in the Car Park.

To avoid the traffic lights in Pittenweem I came home by way of the Kellie Castle road, making for Colinsburgh Filling Station to put fuel in the car.

Back at Ivy I put the kettle on, did the messages and settled down to catch up with the News.    By this time the effects of yesterday's jab had kicked in, and, to make matters worse a migraine kicked in;  so, I've have had a quiet afternoon.   I took afternoon coffee in The Hutte and did a couple Soduko's;  that has been my afternoon's activities.   I'm going to make a cuppa  take a couple pf pills (with a goodie) after this update, then go out to The Hutte again.

19.45    We have a nice evening;  and the are it warmer.   The next few days are to be warm; 'hot' in Sunny Sussex.

This has been a lazy day, and I've spent much of the afternoon cat - napping.    That's more or less how it is after a booster jab.   The migraine was a 'bonus' I could have done without.    Tomorrow I should be in a more 'playful' mood.

When at the Colinsburgh Filling Station this morning,  I got talking to a lady that, like me, had fuelled up her
car;  we agreed that you noticed the difference in price nowadays compared to a couple of months ago.  People over the whole world are suffering, because it looks like, President Trump has dug himself into a hole.   It's time both sides got serious about 'Peace' in the Middle East.    President Trump could begin the process, by thinking 'Peace' not 'Obliteration'!

What am I doing tomorrow?    It all depends on how I'm feeling, but I am expecting to be like the weather.... 'fine'!
