Nice morning ....
30th July 2025 (Wednesday) 08.00 .... There's the cool, fresh feel of Autumn in the early morning
air; quite chilly in fact. However, once the sun gets going, we're to get sunny intervals with a light SW breeze.... and hot in the afternoon. Much the same weather as yesterday. There's a big patch of blue sky moving in from the West, and give the sun a chance to warm up the patio!19.30 It has been another bonnie, and busy day. In the morning Michael and Janice went to 'The Store' to do some shopping; and I began to tidy up the patio. After lunch Michael put a string of solar lights to light up the steps and patio; they then went to Leven to buy a fancy plug to charge up a set of 'temporary' hearing aids that Michael bought, for me,to use, until I get my NHS ones in January.
Janice and Michael are off out for a walk round the village. The are off home to Sunny Sussex tomorrow. And are having an early night as they have to be at Leven for the 09.15 train. They've had a busy holiday and will be glad of the rest on the train. Janice stocked up my fridge with food so I won't need to do a big shopping for nigh on a week. I'm going up to 'annoy' Alice after the train departs. I also need to go to the shops for something; right now I can't remember what it is. It seemed vital when I first thought of it!
I've been tired all day; in fact I slept on top of the bed for an hour in the afternoon. Michael and Janice have been busy ... and so have I, with the paint brush mostly, so I can claim that it I have done some 'mild work' It's the hot weather that really tires me.
I think we shall all be in bed early tonight because of the early start in the morning. I was late in bed
last night; that might explain why I am so tired today; that and the 'mild work' I did. And don't forget the hot afternoon. No wonder I'm tired.22.15 We're all off to bed after another busy day. I'll miss the Troops, but will enjoy the 'fruits of their labour', that's for sure.
Janice took the photo of the patio solar lights. they bring the patio to 'life'.
