Overcast and damp .....
7th December 2025 (Sunday) 10.15.... I've been watching 'The Weatherman Walking in Wales,
and that was followed by 'Countryfile'; both interest programmes. Now? .... it's time to catch up with our 'today'!
We have a dull and damp start to Sunday, with not much happening .... even the birds seem to be 'waiting' for something to happen. I'll put some more crumbs out for 'Blob' and friends after this update. At the moment the weather is more or less the same as it was yesterday at this time, and it's not very promising looking. "Heavy rain with a moderate breeze" is forecast for KY9, so I probably won't be going far; on foot anyway.
12.30 I eventually went for a run in the car. I meant to stop at the paper shop but there was a lot of traffic manoeuvring at the time , so I did the Balbuthie/ Kinneuchar run instead; and Colinsburgh Petrol station. There's nice 'light' about so I took a few photies tae 'play with' later. There has been a fair amount of rain overnight because there's a lot of it lying about!
18.30 The rain that was forecast didn't arrive until late in the afternoon, but It is certainly raining now. Ferry Road looked like a river when I was out there half an hour ago. It, Ferry Road should look very clean tomorrow morning.
The rain should start to become 'light rain soon, then slowly fade away by tomorrow morning; with 'sunny spells' to follow, in the afternoon. I'm a happy 'boy'; I like 'sunny spells'.
10.45 The rain has stopped but, my word, there had been a lot of water tun down Ferry Road since the rain started.
I've been watching the Snooker; it's a fascinating game when you see it being played by the top level players. I can't play the game, but it's an interest spectator sport.
I have no 'plan' for tomorrow; but I'd like to catch the PO van to post my overseas Christmas cards.
And I must remember to get stamps (at the Paper Shop) in the morning. I want all the Christmas cards done by Thursday. "Slight Flap On" for the next few days.
I wish I'd been able to get a photie of the water running down Ferry Road. It has been an interesting day!
