Heavy cloud ....

23rd December 2025 (Wednesday)     16.00    We've had another grey and damp day.    Oh,

apologies for the late update;  I have been a busy boy (hard to believe I know.   First the Nurse phoned to say that I was due a catheter change, and that she would be along to do that shortly;  this was at 09.00.   Jill (Nurse) arrived  about an hour later.   Alice, whom was coming along by bus, arrived not long after Jill left;  by which time I was nearly organised and had the kettle 'on'.   She arrived bearing goodies (Empire biscuits bought at Barnett's the Baker's);  we had them had with the cuppa I had planned.   Alice and I them sorted out the World (again) before having lunch.

When I'd first looked out this morning I saw that the sky was more promising looking:  however it wasn't long before heavy cloud drifted in from the North Sea and we had a repeat of yesterday's weather.   The change was disappointing but not unexpected.

Pittenweem.
20.30   This has been an enjoyable day, albeit a tiring one.   Tomorrow will be a 'rest day'.    Actually Alice wouldn't be as far as Colinsburgh in the bus before I was sound asleep , with a cup o' tea , slowly cooling on the table beside me'.    I'm going to bed early tonight;  and I'll have a 'JT' to give me a good night's sleep.

No 'plan' for tomorrow;  I think the weather is going to me much as it was today, but with lighter cloud and the chance of a sunny spell late in the afternoon.

I didn't take any photographs today, so had a quick browse for a couple of 'sunny ones.   The top one is a Small Copper;  taken at Tentsmuir in 2010.   I'm hoping to feel 'bright eyed and bushy  tailed'  tomorrow.
