Bright and breezy .....
19th December 2025 (Friday) 10.00 .... It's a lovely morning; loads o' fresh air coming
over on a brisk SW wind. It's a good drying day but showers could scuttle across on this wind: I have a washing in the machine, but whether it gets hung out depends on how dark the clouds look.I would say that I am not at my most frolicsome this morning: I'm still a bit stiff from my wandering around over the past couple of days. That said, the air is good, and I want to go out: I might have a walk to the golf course after morning coffee. This is going to be a proper 'rest day'.
18.30 It had been day of mixed weather; breezy with some heavy showers in the afternoon. But a nice day for this time of year; not as cold as the 'old fashioned' winter days. Luckily I'd decided to forget about doing the washing: I didn't mean to ..... I just forgot all about that bit of today's plan! Tomorrow might be a better washing day!
I've had a restful day though, but did a wee bit ;o' ousework to stop me feeling guilty. The parcel I was expecting, arrived (in fact there were two) in the middle of the afternoon; so I settled down to watch the snooker after the postie had been. I didn't have to worry about falling asleep: which I did.... and missed the end of the first quarter final. Although I fell asleep I haven't slept as much as I did yesterday. Hopefully that means I've almost recovered from all the walking I did on Wednesday.
It'a an early night in bed for me tonight; in fact I might have a 'JT' ; they always give me good nights sleep,.... and I usually feel frisky next day. There' isn't a 'plan' for tomorrow; not yet anyway. I'll finish writing Christmas cards , the plan a wee run delivering them.
Kirsty tole me that the temporary traffic lights will be in place until Monday: if I go anywhere
tomorrow morning it will be Westward. Parking up at the shops in Elie didn't look promising.
This morning.
I'm going to have a cuppa .... and a goodie, then catch up with the 'News'. And the weather forecast.
The top two photographs were taken yesterday.
