Windy and cauld ....
28th November 2025 (Friday) 09.15 .... It's sunny, windy, and cold (7.4C just now). When
I got out of bed, at 06.45, I was feeling frisky; since then, the frisky feeling has dropped faster than the temperature, and this is now a 'rest day'. When the frisky feeling was on me I was contemplating driving to Leven and Methil; now I'll go as far as the 'Paper Shop'. Another cuppa is next on the 'to do' list; before I go anywhere.
12.00 There's a bit of a breeze this morning .... looks like F9 out in the Firth. With the wind being so strong it's cold out in the open. It would be a nice day if it wasn't windy.
I've been for the paper and a few more bits and pieces, then came home by way of Woodhaven Bay, Balbuthie and Kinneuchar..
15.00 The wind was wild out at Woodhaven; though, being well wrapped only my face and hands were cold.... but that was only for the short time I was pout of the car! It was much less windy at my usual parking spot outside Kinneuchar. For some reason the Balbuthie road was busy.
Iain is hoping to arrive sometime this afternoon; he can't leave home until a tradesman comes to look at a job that Iain and Jackie are wanting done. I'm organised for him (aye even the bed is ready), but it depends on when the tradesman turns up . I imagine that, if it's too late he'll leave travelling until early tomorrow morning.
The thermometer got up to 9.5C this afternoon. It must have been really chilly on the beach and golf course! It's 7.4C now (well five minutes ago). And it's spitting rain. I brought the washing in half an hour ago!
22.30 Iain arrived about 15.00 ish. We have caught up with all the family 'News'; and sorted out the World .... again. Tomorrow we're going to Leven to do some shopping, and tidy up The Hutte, so that I can use it again.
The wind has moved away and we have a peaceful night ahead; and we should have a quieter and slightly warmer day to morrow.
