Dreich morning ....

pleasant start to the day.   At the moment it looks like the sun could break through to give us 'sunny spells and light rain.    The air is colder (only 8.9C on the patio 10 minutes ago) which probably explains why I'm not quite 'bright eyed and bushy tailed' this morning.   This could be a day to browse the 'Albert Archive' .... looking for Muircambus Mill dam photies.

Ferry Road is busy with cars just now;  I don't think they're holiday makers going to the beach!   I won't be going further than the  front gate;  and the patio thermometer!

20.30    The dreich morning cleared up to give us 'sunny spells' until later in the afternoon when squally showers arrived.  The thermometer reach 12.1C in the warmest part of the afternoon.    It was cold (8.6C) and wet when I went out at 16.30.   It has been cold all day.

I've had a quiet day browsing the archive:  it's surprising what I find.    Today's photos were taken in 2011.   'Strathairly' is a hidden gem.   I was there as part of a Group visit;  I think it might have been the East Fife Preservation Society.

I don't know what has been going on in the Ferry today;  but Ferry Road has been busy with traffic all day.   I'm on the Ferry Road side of Ivy now, and can see the traffic, since Iain moved the computer through to the bigger bedroom.

Tomorrow is going to be bright and breezy with the chance of showers in the afternoon;  it will be chilly out in the open.   Monday is going to be warmer so I might go out somewhere.   Today has been a complete rest day, with 'The Pedals' being my exercise for today.
