Bonnie Autumn morning ....
7th November 2025 (Friday) 09.40 .... We have a lovely, sunny and warm,
'Autumnal mists'kind of morning ; absolutely gorgeous. I've been busy hanging out a washing but there isn't much of a drying breeze just now, so I don't think it will dry very fast; unless the wind freshens. I'll have another cuppa before going up to Elie to pick up my prescription.... and a paper! Might even go to the harbour!
15.15 My word .... this has been a really gorgeous ' Indian Summer' like day.... and I have enjoyed it. As planned Im went to Elie to get a paper and pick up my prescription. Of course, with it being a bonnie day I went down to the harbour. and enjoyed myself with the camera. Steve was there sorting out one of the yachts. I enjoyed chatting about the boats: and he was saying that the yachts active on the water last summer and he thinks they will be even more active in 2026. That's really good news.
I had intended going to the filling station at Colinsburgh, but Cath was saying that the work on Colinsburgh Main street should be finished this weekend; so, as I still have over a half tank of fuel, i decided to leave filling up until sometime next week. I was back to Ivy by morning coffee time.
After lunch I decided to get 'The Buggy' out and have a turn 'roond the Ferry'. When I got onto the road U decided to go East for a change, but only as far as Siward Lane. I did that and went down Siward Lane to get a photie from the bents. From here I did the normal run up the Ferry High Street and Chapel Greed Road to the turning going then home. Taking loads of photographs on the way.
19.25 This has been a busy, and enjoyable, day for this 'Boy' ; I didn't even have a siesta after lunch. In fact I haven't even had a cat nap. I am feeling tired and sleepy now, so it will be an early night in bed, with my book. It's one of Kirsty's, Donna Leon books. Donna Leon lives in Venice, and her crime novels are set in Venice. All very interesting and exciting.
