Overcast and cold .....
29th November 2025 (Saturday) 09.30 .... It's cloudy and cold just now (overnight low (4.5C;
now 4.8C) with a damp air. Not \ a morning for the beach. We're going to Leven after this update.
14.30 Iain and I have completed the Leven (Sainsbury's) mission, and came home with a load of interesting foodstuffs; even the odd 'goodie'. Iain needs Gluten free so I bought Gluten free Millionaire's Shortbread, a different kind of 'goodie'. Definitely an 'odd' goodie. It tastes much the same as 'Common Millionaire's Shortbread', but slightly smaller portions.
It has been bitterly cold with the wind being from the NW; even inside Sainsbury's it felt cooler that it normally does. We were early so the shop wasn't crowded with bodies. One lassie that I spoke to, gave me her cold hands to hold; and they were cold. Reminded me of when Maggie came in after hanging out a washing on a cold morning!
On the way home, the road into Leven was steady traffic all the way: I imagine the shops, including Sainsbury's, would be busier by midday.
Although there is only a light breeze, the air feels bitterly cold. The sun hasn't broken through very often to warm the air up. Tomorrow is going to be brighter; but still cold.
Leafless trees (as they are at this time of year) are still interesting : they remind me that in just over three weeks it will be the shortest day, and we'll looking forward to longer days and budding trees. Spring will be 'just round the corner'; that said ,it could be a long corner!
20.15 Iain has been busy sorting out my first Canon camera so I might take it out with me the next time I'm down at the harbour. It needs the independent lenses; the newer Canon has all the lenses built in. (It's a 'Bridge Camera).
I made the food, .... and put the dishes in the dishwasher. It has been too cauld, with a damp air, to goout anywhere.
Today's photies were taken from the car on the trip to, and from. Leven.
