Sunny .....

20th November 2025 (Thursday)      10.00 .... It's a beautiful morning, but cold out.    The

lowest thermometer reading overnight was -0.8C.   It has risen to 1.2C since sunrise;  but I don't think it's going to feel very warm all day.   There's frisky wind from the North so it's bitterly cold exposed to that wind.   I might go for a run in the car later.    We are lucky that the bad weather is missing us (apart from the cold wind).

Apart from a slight headache, the jabs (jab singular actually) haven't bothered me too much.   I've had a litre of water since I got 'up';  now I'm going to have another cuppa.

16.15   The wind certainly took at least  couple of degrees off the temperature out in the open;  and it only reached 5C  sheltered from the wind.   I went up to Chapel green (in the car) after lunch, then  to Kinneuchar for a wee run.   Most of the day I stayed in and warm:  I closed the living room thermal curtains to keep in the heat.   Other than the early headache the booster jab hasn't affected me much at all today;  but I did have a longer siesta than usual.

The top photograph is of 'The Paddock's housing development in Colinsburgh.   It's a pity they didn't have some of the houses done with darker harling;  the site might then have merged better with the older part of the village.   That said I'm sure that the houses will be nice inside and out.  They are certainly in a bonnie place.  I'm in the mood for a good old moan.

The only 'work' I have done today is sort out the car boot.   The RAC man wanted to see if I had something in the tool kit.   I didn't:  and  I forgot to put the boot 'floor' down.   As I found out when I went shopping the other day!

22.30    My word.... I've been sleeping well today.    Fatigue is one of the symptom, along with dizziness

and I've had them both today.     I planned on going to bed at 21.30 but fell asleep in front of the tele.    Hopefuly I'll be bright eyed and bushy tailed tomorrow.
