Nice morning ....

17th November 2025 Monday)     09.30 .... We have a 'wall to wall' sunny sky just now, with a

light breeze.   The temperature is 5.5C after an overnight low of 1.0C;  and, although chilly, it's really pleasant in the sunshine.  This could be a play day; ....after another cuppa (or two).

10.30    The golf course was busier than I thought it would be, when I went round The Ferry in the car.

It is definitely a 'play day';  and I might get The Buggy 'out  in the middle of the day.   I want to do a wee bit o' 'work' before 'play'.   I'll see how the mood takes me after morning coffee.

16.30    It has been a lovely, bright sunny day, albeit a chilly one.   The thermometer only got up to 6.2C, but, with the breeze being light there was very little wind chill, or it might have felt really cold.    The golfers were well wrapped up;  as I was,  and I was in the car.

I went out to the gate, to have a browse up and down Ferry Road, before lunch, and saw Vince coming up from the beach;  he told that there was a ship in the bay.   Instead of getting the buggy out, I had a wander to Nana's Seat.   The bow was face on to the beach so I got a few photies, went back to Ivy;  grabbed the car keys, louped into the car, and went up to Chapel Green to get some better angle shots.  Then it was lunch time!

I had a sandwich lunch: nippy sausage slices with some kind of skinny cheese;  it was very tasty.   I'll find out the fancy name when I put dinner in the oven.

Now having a quiet, and non wrinkled 'puku' (Maori for stomach),  I was in the mood to do a wee bit to 'The Hutte'.    But only after a cuppa and a short siesta.

When I woke up, 45 minutes or so later, I put a cold cuppa into the microwave for 40 seconds, and  was

soon in the mood for 'work'.    Actually that (the work) didn't take long (mostly because I didn't do much), but the little I did made me happy!   Anyway it was turning colder 'out';   'in' would be warmer, and I wanted to browse today's batch of photies.   And have a  fresh cuppa.   Microwave tea is hot, but not quite perfect!

The golf course was still busy when was out in the afternoon.   Mind you, it was a perfect day for golf.   And for being 'out and about' in the sunshine.... as long as you were wrapped up warm.

23.15    This is late for me going to bed:  I found a 'Midsomer Murder' that I haven't seen before (and I've most of them at least twice).    Oh well .... I'll probably sleep in tomorrow morning.
