6th June 2025 (Friday) 08.30 .... At the moment I'd say the sky was mostly blue; but there are
clouds scattered around, and there's chance of showers . It's not as breezy as it was yesterday, so not as chilly as it was. I'm going to Methil (to torment Alice) and Leven to do our shopping. I've got a washing going through, which I'll hang out in spite of the chance of showers.21.30 This has been a busy day. Alice and I did our shopping in the morning, then went back to Alice' s to have lunch. That reminds me I got tablet from Lorraine Alice's next door neighbour..... and I'm fancying a bit o' tablet.
Back at Ivy I put the messages away, had a cuppa, and decided to defrost the freezer. That disnae take long; using Maggie's hairdryer. It's a bit o' a guddle but I got there eventually, then had another cuppa while watching the 'News'. The washing I did was dry in spite of the shower that I drove through on the way home. Actually the roads were dry from Upper Largo to 'The royal Burgh'.
Iain arrived from Aberdeen (he been at work) at about 17.15 which was handy because I'd been organising dinner (sausages and mash) and it was ready to 'plate'.
The 'plan' is to go to Kirkcaldy to buy a mobility scooter tomorrow. I've been thinking about my Great Grandsons, Henry and Sorley; and how they are learning new things all the time. I'm a the other end of that long road now .... and still learning: how to adapt to doing new things with, what is now, an old body. It's challenging, and sometimes frustrating;.... but it's enjoyable; most of the time. Anyway, the mobility scooter means I'll be able to potter around the villages, reaching most of my favourite viewpoints, to get more photographs of our lovely corner of Mother Earth. I won't be able to out to the lighthouse and Lady's Tower: but I have loads of photos of both. Having been busy today, you can see that I didn't go far with the camera..... but I have been busy. It has been a lovely day; and warm in the sun.
