Sunny and warm ....

20th May 2026 (Saturday)     09.45 .....This is a perfect day for insects, so Iain is at the cliffs

looking for a butterfly that breeds there.  It certainly is a lovely sunny start to the weekend, but light rain showers could come our way later today.    At the moment it's sunny and warm;  which is why Iain is out with the camera.    Me? .... I'm going have another cuppa!

20.30    We've had a busy day;  well Iain has.     Hay fever has been bothering me, so I've been mostly useless.     Anyway the computers have been moved so a quick run round wi' the Hoover, (alias vacuum cleaner) and all will be good.  The bed will have to be made up but I can do that over the next couple of weeks.
The weather has been kind really;  only a couple of short light showers in the afternoon.   In fact Iain went up to Chapel Green to get a few photos of insects, and didn't have any problems with the weather.  I sat in the Hutte and chatted to Anne;  and did a couple of Soduko's after Anne went off home to spoil Bob.

Tomorrow Iain and I  intend finishing off the bedroom before lunch;  because, after lunch,  Iain will be going back to Auchnagatt to torment Jackie!    There's a good chance of showers tomorrow so it will be a better day for  me 'doing' stuff like 'ooverin' and dustin'.    'Heavy rain' is forecast tor tonight;  but mostly towards the West of Fife.

22.00    The on/off deal in the Middle East is 'off' again... so, nothing new there.   The Ukrainians  and Russians  are still killing each other .... so nothing new there.   'Peace? ..... it will take clever people to bring 'Peace' to  both those wars.   Then there's all the other, 'sort of little wars', with people killing each other, for some stupid reason:  probably because they could get their hands on small arms too easily!   Oh well .... the small arms manufacturers will be happy.

I'm tired tonight after a lazy day day really.   I hope to be a bit more frolicsome and  'Spring Lamb' like
'Boris' resting in The Hutte.
tomorrow.    The villages are still busy with holiday makers;  and we even had
more joggers than usual this morning:  it's good seeing folk enjoying Elie and Earlsferry;   but it can be stressful at rimes.

Today's photographs :  Top and Middle both taken in Ivy garden.   Bottom - Boris relaxing in The Hutte.
