Nice morning ....

22nd May 2026 (Friday)     I had an early appointment (09.00) at the Skeith Centre;  so I have

been a busy boy this bonnie morning.   And, as always happens as always happens booster jabs, the second day after the jab brings on a headache and an 'under the weather feeling'.   Anyway this will be a rest day, spent in The Hutte doing Soduko's.

It's a lovely morning, a fair bit of cloud about, with a lot of sunny spells;   and  there's hardly any wind so it's warm.    It's never going to be as warm as down south, but it's going to be a nice, sunny and  warm weekend.

19.00     It has been a lovely Spring day, some clouds but most of the day we had  a long sunny interval.   As I said earlier this would be a laz ... rest day;  and it  has been.   Most of the time in the Hutte doing Soduko's and researching books.    The after effects of the booster jab are as per usual;  miserable two days after the jab, feeling better on the third, then more or less back to normal.   The exception being I can't do Hard Soduko's!   Normally takes about six weeks to get back to them.   I'll have ago at a hard one tomorrow to see how I get on.

There's a hot weather warning (Red) out for the South ,including Sunny Sussex:  I wouldn't like to  be down there when it';s that hot.   I suppose I could close The Hutte door;  but I won't!

It will be an early night in bed for me;  I'm hoping to be loupin' around like a Spring Lamb tomorrow. That would be a change!   My loupin' days are over.   Taking a turn round the village on The Buggy will have to do.   But it won't be this weekend.

I have an ironing to do after this update:  but I'm going to have a cuppa and take a couple of pills first.

22.15    It feels like is cold be an uncomfortably warm night, even for us in Bonnie Scotland;  but nothing like it's going to be in the SE of England.    I'm looking forward to being livelier tomorrow, but I suppose that depends on hot hot it is,... and if the effects of the booster jab have cleared away.
