Nice day ....
12th May 2026 (Tuesday) 16.15 .... Although, breezy (NW) with a few showers, it has been a
lovely, mostly sunny day; and it hasn't been cold. I went to Methil as planned, dropping into Alice's HQ to have morning coffee before going to Methil Library Library to have my hearing aids 'services'. The servicing is done by hearing aid wearers, that have been taught how to do the servicing. In fact the gentleman at the table was having his hearing aid serviced by a trainee. I was next in the, and, (after filling in a form) all that I had to have done was have mew tubes that connect the aid(s) to the ear mould(s) replaced; they harden and become inflexible and have to be replace approximately every 4 months.By the way Methil Library is a lovely, Art Deco building, on Wellesley Road. I'll take a few photographs (of the outside) the next time I'm along there.
Alice and I then went back to 'Alice's HQ', and had another cuppa before going to Leven to do the wee bit of shopping. From the Car Park (Sainsbury's) I could see a heavy shower over Largo Law, and promptly thought about the washing I'd hung out.
Shopping done we went back to Alice's and had lunch followed by coffee, before I set of home; dropping Alice off, near her hairdresser, on the way. I arrived back at Ivy in time to take in the washing, about five minutes before one of the showers; short but wet, came across. By that time, the washing was in 'The Hutte'! And so was I!
The shower didn't last more than five minutes, so I went into Ivy and put the messages away, before catching up with the 'News'. The 'News'? .... it's all about the Labour Party doing something silly.
20.30 It's a nice evening, but the air is chillier than it was a in the afternoon; and it's to be colder for the next few days. I've enjoyed myself today; it hasn't been a hard day, but getting the hearings aids done, and annoying Alice, means it has been a successful one.
I don't understand the Labour Party MP's: they're like a 'plague' of Lemmings that have found a cliff to jump off!
The Prime Minister got them the massive majority in Parliament; give him a chance to govern; even if it does mean a few 'U' turns on the way! For the sake of the country. and the Labour Party, let him get on with the job!
