Quiet, sunny morning ....
3rd July 2025 (Thursday) 08.00 .... We have a lovely, sunny start to 'day', but the sky is to cloud

I wasn't the only that thought it was cold! |
11.00 I thought about going up to Chapel Green on the bike but the wind has freshened and its cold; so I went for a run in the car, and did the Balbuthie run, including the harbour. I have the feeling that the traffic problems at the harbour are going to be bad this year. Anyway I got a few photies tae play wi' in the evening.
I phoned Alice to see is she fancied going to the Wellesley Kirk Community Centre for lunch, but she is 'out'. This means that lunch is going to be a sandwich, with my main meal at 'denner time'. Oops.... I see spots o' rain hitting the window, this is probably going to be a 'rest day' now. Havin' said that, it's only showers, and most of them will miss us.
20.30 This changeable weather has upset my 'summer' plans; (and fired up a migraine in the afternoon). I ended up watching the tennis (Wimbledon) and cat napping. It seems that with this weather I do the right thing by going out in the morning. It has been a nice enough day, and the showers never came to.... oops ...there's the phone!Gannet.
I'm back. And I've forgotten what I was gaun tae write aboot. I'll make a cuppa .... that's something haven't forgotten aboot. I'll be back later.
22.45 I didn't mean to be this late, but I've been busy on the phone, catching up with family stuff. Derek's Celebration of Life service is at Brewesterwells Crematorium on Wednesday and I've been sorting out what to wear for that. Iain is coming down on Tuesday, so that takes care of the travelling to Brewesterwells.
Either somebody washed my car, or that deluge we had yesterday did it; it's really clean.... and
polished looking. "Strong winds and heavy rain" is the forecast for tomorrow, with "light rain and moderate breeze" on Saturday. There's a "Yellow Warning - possible", that includes Fife, active from 06.00 tomorrow morning through to 15.00 on Saturday afternoon. The West of Scotland is to get the worst of the weather; hopefully we will just get the 'tail end' of it.
