Nice morning....
15th July 2025 (Tuesday) 08.00 .... After a bright ,sunny start to the morning, clouds are starting
to lumber in from the ESE. "Light rain with a moderate breeze" is forecast for the middle part of the day, clearing to sunny spells in the late afternoon and evening. There's a nice fresh feeling to the air; cooler than it has been lately, but not cold. A pleasant start to the day.
11.45 .... I went to Elie to take a few photos of the Toft, and the harbour at low tide to give me something to 'play' with if rain does come our way. We had a few spits and spots at 11.00 but that was just the edge of a heavy shower cloud, and didn't come to anything. Anyway... where was I? Ah ... taking photographs from the Toft and harbour!
I couldn't believe it when I saw the two boys on their bikes. In asked the two ladies accompanying them, if it was OK to take a photo, of the boys going down the Toft; that was fine. If you've been watching 'le Tour you will have seen the advert with three boys, on similar bikes. that introduces the beginning of 'le Tour coverage. It is so cute.... as were the two boys, "burning off energy" Mum said!... on the way to the harbour. Absolutely brilliant. The photo was taken long before the Toft gets busy; and the 'girls' were 'keeping a sharp lookout' and definitely 'in control'. I certainly enjoyed my trip out; as did the boys! And the girls too! It's good, meeting and chatting to folk enjoying Elie.... and Earlsferry.
20.00 I've been busy on this afternoon, though I didn't get out on the scooter, or bike. The weather was a bit iffy for the scooter, and I had stuff to do on the computer. I was 'up' early this morning and was really tired after lunch.... and had a long siesta in the afternoon. I actually watched an interesting, hour long programme by David Attenborough about bats, without falling asleep; started watching something else (can't even remember what) and fell asleep for nearly an hour. I enjoyed myself with the camera this morning. That reminds me I still have some of this morning photographs to 'sort'.
