Bright and breezy ....

17th March 2026 (Tuesday)     St Patrick's Day.

09.15 .... It's a nice morning; and. although windy ,it's a warmer wind than we had for the past few weeks.

Actually strong winds are forecast, for the middle of the day.   I've hung out a washing;  it's certainly a good drying day.   There's low chance of a shower in the morning, but I'm feeling positive.    I'll have another cuppa then got ready to go to Methil and Leven.

19.00    It has been a nice day;  and a pleasantly warm one.   I enjoyed my morning 'annoying' Alice;  and the bit of retail therapy in Sainsbury's.   As is normal nowadays the roads were extremely busy:  I don'tb think I'll ever get used to just how busy the roads are now compared to not that many tears ago.   I suppose the fact that the East Neuk has a lot of Air B n B properties will account for some of the increase.

As you can see in the top photograph there's going to be roadworks, between Upper Largo and Lundin Links.   That should create a few queues now and again;  especially over the Easter holidays.   I don't know what it's all about;  could it be more houses?

This has been a restful day for me:  that said,  I'm tired now.    The only 'work' I've done around Ivy is the washing.... and ironing.    No wonder I'm tired.   Tomorrow? ..... Myra is picking me up to go to the Colinsburgh  Friendship lunch;   that's where I catch up with the Colinsburgh and Kinneuchar gossi... er...  news!   I will have more 'News' tomorrow.

22.40    The Scottish Parliament has just voted down the Assisted Dying Bill.   It would be a hard  for the MSP's to make their minds up how to vote.    Me?.... I am disappointed..
