Sunny .... .....

19th March 2026 (Thursday)    09.30 .... We have a lovely morning...."sunny with a light,

Easterly breeze" (8.8C) on the patio thermometer at present).   I have washed another two jerseys;  it should be a good drying day;  that said, light cloud could come in from the North Sea.   Don't want that to happen!    As planned I got up early to go out on the bike, but the chilly air at the time made me change my mind about that.    Ferry Road is busy now.

14.15    My word.... Spring has sprung right enough;  we have a gorgeous sunny, and warm, (17.3C on the patio thermometer) day at KY9.   I went to the paper shop, and to the harbour;   even down there it was comfortably warm.   I got a good selection of photographs to play with.   Unfortunately GIMP crashed on me so I can't 'play' with them until Iain comes down at the weekend.   He will reload GIMP.   Until then I will be using older photographs (that have already been 'played' with) on the blog.

19.15     I've just been out to bring in  a couple of jerseys that I washed this morning, and I can tell you that it's chilly.   However the forecast is good for tomorrow;  "chilly morning and evening" .... warm and sunny in between.    That reminds me;  when I was at Elie this morning,  I made an appointment to have my haircut on Tuesday.   I must not forget!.... my hair is beginning to feel uncomfortable 'roond the lugs'

I thought President Trump was against the rocketing price of oil and gas!    His way of sorting it out was to threaten to, more or less, destroy the Iranian gas complex.... which action will put the price of oil and gas even higher.   He has a strange way of thinking.    However he has now changed his mind and has asked Israel not to attack the gas field again:  apparently Israel acted on their own initiative when they attacked the gas field.   All wars are senseless;  they will eventually end up talking.

I have no plan for tomorrow;  I might get 'The Buggy' out, in between getting ready for Jackie and Ian coming;  but only if it's warm enough.

Forget about the bit above where I said Iain would fix GIMP:  a note cam up to tell me what to do to fix it!    And it worked.... which surprised me!    Anyway today's photos were taken from the harbour and The Toft.    One thing you can see from the photies;  it was a lovely sunny day.   And warm!

I have enjoyed myself today;  what a difference a sunny (and warm) day makes.   I'm looking forward to
a lot of warm sunny days!    I'm going to make a cuppa then find something to watch on the tele.

22.30    I felt sorry for the Japanese Prime Minister;  she appeared embarrassed  at the Press Conference in the Oval Office.  He is a strange President is President Trump.
