Nice morning ....

31st March 2026  (Tuesday) ....  We have a bright and breezy morning, and, it's not as cold as I expected it to be when I ventured out to the gate.    If the weather stays like this I might get 'The Buggy' out sometime today.    I'm going to hang out a couple of towels, because it is a good drying day.     Ferry Road has been busy with vehicles this morning;   I suspect 'The Buggy' won't be going further than the patio.

19.30    It has been a bonnie, mostly sunny, day;  and it's quite mild now.   I have had an enjoyable day, driving to Leven and Methil, annoying Alice, shopping at Sainsbury's (the shop was quiet), back to Alice HQ for a picnic lunch,    Alan (Alice's son in law) arrived, driving his Mum's Wheelchair accessible car.    The wheelchair fits in where the front seat would normally be, so perfect for Irene being taken out for a run, with a front seat view of the scenery.

In Sainsbury's we met a gentleman that had experienced the temporary traffic lights at the Main Street in Lundin Links;  at the shops!    The lights at the bottom of Largo brae have been removed, and traffic is free flowing;  but there is work going on the the field to the south of the road.   Is that field going to be another housing development?   That's what it looks like.

There's a lot of strangers, (probably holiday makers) going up and down Ferry Road;  when I think about it there's hardly anyone that isn't a 'stranger' nowadays.   I suppose that's a sign of old age.   I'm getting to know all the 'new locals';  and I'm enjoying that;  but can get mixed up putting names to the right faces.    Funnily if a 'stranger' has a dog that helps.    Mind you, nowadays a lot of dogs are 'doodle' dogs, with floppy lugs and a cute looking face;   and look like they all came from the same kennels.    It's hard work being 'me'.

I'm weary tonight after a busy day;  and come to the conclusion that driving tires me out,  as much as 'work' does    The next couple of days are to be 'rest days';  putting postcards into albums, in my 'new' workplace: 'The Hutte'.
