Overcast ....

7th October 2025 (Tuesday)      2nd Anniversary of October 7th attack on Israel.

10.00    It's a drab start to the morning... heavily overcast, and cooler than yesterday.   I don't have a

'plan' for today;  but I cancelled my blood test appointment at the Surgery, and have a new one on the 16th, by which time I should he well clear of the cold.  The car will be picked up sometime today, and taken to the garage;  I'll be glad when that is done.   I'll have morning coffee, while watching the News.

19.00    Ian came to uplift the car at 10.45 so I'll be able to sleep tonight without worrying about it.   I didn't particularly like where I'd parked it last night.    I do needless worrying on a grand scale.

The sky gradually cleared throughout the day;  and we now look like having clear night.   The 'Harvest Moon'  Sarah (Keith-Lucas the weather lady) said it will be the biggest and, brightest super moon of the year so far, and should be spectacular;  if the sky stays clear.  A moderate breeze is forecast so it could be cold.    I'll take my photos  from the patio.

Being at a loose end, I decided to make the Eve's Pudding this afternoon; using the exact measurements according to the wee cook book I use.   Unfortunately I fell asleep while it was in the oven,  so the sponge topping was darker than I like.    Sometimes know as 'burnt roond the edges'.   It tastes good. ... and I should get three for the freezer.

23.00   I find it impossible to imagine what goes on in the heads of terrorists, when you see the evil of the Hamas attack on Israel two years ago.   Evil was on the rampage that day.  It saddens me to think that human beings can do that to fellow human beings.  I hope that commonsense prevails at the talks in Egypt.

The sky is clear and there's a chilly air when I was out taking photographs of the Harvest moon just
now.   If I didn't have this cold I'd have wandered up to the seat at the 17th green to take a few photos.   It's a bonnie night....and it's going to be  nice day tomorrow.   Happy me!
