Nice morning ....

31st October 2025 (Friday)     10.00 .... The patio thermometer is at 11.7C .... so already warmer

than it was at anytime yesterday.    That is after an overnight low of 5.4C.    We have a lovely, warm and sunny morning, with a chance of light showers at anytime.    There's a moderate SSE breeze but it must be originating from somewhere warm because it's... well ....  a warm breeze.   There's o 'plan' for today so far;   I'll have an early morning coffee, and see what the brain cell comes up with.

19.00    I've had a reasonably busy day;  well did have until I fell sound asleep in the afternoon.   Since then I've been free wheeling.    There's been a change in th air and the auld tubes don't like it.

I can only count 5 chocolate crispies on that plate;  a plate I found at the back door in the afternoon.   I'm sure there were six on it originally.!   Anyway, the five are now in an \air tight container so that I can scoff them at leisure.   A big 'Thank You' to whoever left them at the door.    After lunch I put a Scottish CD in the music centre and fell sound asleep for over an hour. ... so didn't hear the doorbell  And I'm ready for an early night in bed!

Ferry Wynd -2005
Prince ... oops Mr Andrew Mountbatten Windsor continues to make the 'News' today.   It must have hurt HM King to do what had to be done, to his brother.   However Mr AM Windsor brought all this on himself, and the Royal Family, even though he denies that anything took place.   It will take the Royal Family a long time to completely recover from the damage this has caused.

I went out in the car in the afternoon but iwas spitting rain so I only wen 'roond the Ferry'.   Apart from the top photo the other two are from 2005.

While browsing the Archive  this afternoon, I found some of the the photographs I'd taken when Jimmy and i| were researching the Muircambus Mill  dam, and lade.   I have decided to get it all down on a page for the 'blog';  that's my project for this winter.   I took loads of photies, but finding them could take a while.   I'll start doing that seriously tomorrow.

Once again we're to have rain overnight!   You can guess who is a 'happy boy' about that.   It has been
warmer today.... it was 11.9C at one time on the patio, which is good for this time of year.   We're to have 'light rain' with a fresh breeze tomorrow... and it's to be cooler.
